After noticing a large number or orphaned teens turn to drugs and violence, a few members of the Wynberg community knew it was time for them to step in. They founded the Darum-Naim child and youth centre to care for children who had no one else to care for them. The centre provides holistic care for the children who need it most. Along with shelter and food they are also assisted in reaching their potential in school and how to have a positive outlook on life. The centre currently only has the capacity to care for 10 orphans but are hoping for someone to give them what they need for the centre to be able to reach more children.
